Swiping through menus is easy: Your left thumb operates the menu screen in the gauge cluster, and your right thumb controls the large central screen without taking your hands from the wheel's leather-wrapped rim.
12.3-Inch Touchscreen Multimedia Display
A widescreen colour display with multitouch interface makes it easy to access a world of features, including audio, phone and vehicle settings. In addition to the three input methods of the standard screen (touchscreen, console touchpad, and Touch Control steering wheel), it also responds to the advanced voice control you activate by saying "Hey, Mercedes." Predictive features can learn and anticipate your commands, while you can save groups of settings as themes and moods.

The touchpad works a lot like your smartphone, including multitouch gestures like swiping through menus and pinching to zoom. Adjacent one-touch hard keys access major functions and include a programmable "favorite" button.
5-Zone Automatic Climate Control
Adding yet another layer of luxury to the 4-zone system, new 5-zone climate control offers individual left and right comfort zones in both the first and second rows, plus a fifth zone for the third row. For added convenience, the entire cabin can be synched as one zone at the touch of a button.

A single button in the cargo area lets you fold down all the rear seats with one touch.
DYNAMIC SELECT
A selector on the console lets you vary the vehicle's performance character to suit your needs or your mood. DYNAMIC SELECT offers four preset modes: ECO, Comfort, Sport and Off-Road, plus an Individual mode you can personalize. Each mode adapts throttle response, shift points, ESP and more, with Off-Road tailored for dirt, gravel and sand. The AIRMATIC® suspension also adapts the damping rate in the various modes, while available E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL adds highly dynamic Sport+ and CURVE modes.
AIRMATIC Suspension
For a balanced, comfortable ride, the AIRMATIC® suspension employs electronically controlled air springs that provide an ideal balance of ride comfort and handling composure. At the push of a button, the vehicle's ride height can be raised for added ground clearance, or lowered at the rear for easier cargo loading. Automatic 4-wheel level control helps compensate for additional cargo or passengers, and can lower at higher speeds to improve aerodynamics, stability and efficiency.

Inductive Wireless Charging
Advanced NFC technology allows wireless charging of a compatible phone or other device that supports the Qi standard. An inductive tray in the console lets you charge your device's battery as you drive, without plugging it in. Pairing your device with the vehicle can be performed by simply holding your device near a pairing point in the console. Once paired, your vehicle can recognize when you enter the car with the device, and quickly establish secure wireless data transfer automatically.
Head-Up Display
The Head-Up Display projects a 9.5-inch-wide virtual image that appears to "float" several feet in front of the windshield. The high-resolution readout places useful information in the driver's natural field of vision, with minimal "eyes off the road." The large graphical display can show the next driving speed, cruise-control settings and more. Its height adjustment is stored in the seat memory, while the display adapts automatically to ambient light.
